I just finished reading a presentation on Beliefnet about Wayne Dyer’s The Power of Intention. The presentation was called How to Attract Abundance: Ten Steps to Feeling Successful in Your Life. In short, it was very informative and refreshing; refreshing in a sense that it made me stop and examine (consciously) how I was composing my thoughts in the present. I’m a big believer in always trying to look at the bright side of things, regardless of the circumstances. I’m, also, a big believer in you get what you think about, especially, karma.
This presentation gives you 10 steps to evaluate in order to have the abundance of life open its doors. Each step basically builds on each other until you can shift your daily outlook into a positive direction … a few habit forming exercises of life, I guess. It tells you to first see the world as abundant for all and is available. Next, it tells you to slow down and consciously choose positive and abundant thoughts … and, if you’re not thinking that way, then to start doing it in the present moment, which to me was the most powerful point in the message. Ever run into the problem of needing a new mouse pad? You may need one quickly, especially, when someone in the family spills some juice or ramen noodle soup on the mouse pad. My mouse’s home, located in the garage, really takes abuse. And, I am not buying a new pad for no mouse … not even the mouse I love so dearly.
